Are You In Over Your Head?

I’m so in over my head right now and it’s such a fabulous place to be in! I’m excited!

When you know you’re in so deep over your head that there’s no way possible you will be able to do what you’re dreaming of without hanging onto God with everything you’ve got, you’re actually in the best place in the world.

This place causes us to do one of two things; either get this real determined look on our face, kick it into high gear and start running full force ahead in our own self-effort or it causes us to say to God, “There is no way I can do all this so would You just do it through me and help me cooperate with You?”

The second option is the only sane way to live and you will find that God will take you far beyond anything you have ever dreamed possible if you live this way.

I am completely exploding with vision right now, but last week I had a few days where I was kind of freaking out on the inside, thinking, “How is this all going to come together.” After a couple of days the Holy Spirit reminded me, “Hold it Sandra, this deal is not on you. You can go ahead and get right back to trusting again.” I thought, “Oh yes, that’s right. Oops, I forgot about that for about 48 hours.”

I love simple, don’t you? I think I used to be the most complicated person on the planet and going from complicated to simple has been one of the most important transitions of my life. Simple makes me smile. Simple makes me laugh. Trusting God keeps life simple!

Look at this awesome verse:

God can do anything, you know far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. (Ephesians 3:20, MSG)

I hope if you’ve stopped dreaming or if you’ve been wondering whether you should limit your dreams because you can’t figure out in your head how it’s all going to work out that reading this post will inspire you to start dreaming again…big time!

God’s got this!
