I woke up at 4:30am this morning after just getting in bed at 12:30am, but I was too excited to go back to sleep!

This was the first thing that entered my mind: It’s my Birthday, I’m so glad to be alive, You love me so much God, You love me so much, You love me so much!

I’m living with a greater level of joy on this Birthday than I have ever had before and I know that this is simply because of how consumed I am with believing how much God loves me and how powerful His grace is toward me.

I recently noticed that my church, St. Louis Family Church, was having a night of worship on October 10th, my Birthday. What immediately came to mind was this: Wow God, You know ‘Nights Of Worship’ are my very favorite thing in the whole world and I bet You put it on their heart to have a night of worship on my Birthday because You love me so much. I was smiling so big while saying this to God.

You see how I personalized The Father’s love for me? Well, this is how I live day in and day out now. I literally stay in awe of how much God cares for me. I am like a little kid in knowing His love for me, yet I never stop receiving it and think, Oh, I already know He loves me – I’ll move onto something deeper now. NO WAY!

So when I woke up this morning the second thing that came to my mind was this: What I would like for my Birthday more than anything else in the world is for people everywhere to really understand the width and the length and the height and the depth of God’s love for them and the power of His grace that is extended toward them.

In fact, I believe God’s love for us is an aspect of His great grace toward us.

I then received communion and prayed for every person who would be reading this blog post and asked God to help you really grasp His love and grace as a revelation. Here’s what I prayed for you.

Ephesians 3:16-21

16 I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. 20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. (NLT)

I can think of nothing I want more than for people everywhere to really get a personal revelation of this because I’ve seen how deeply it has changed my life and my perspective.

And BTW – When I pray I believe God hears me… so for those of you who have been desiring a new revelation or a deeper revelation of God’s very personal love and grace toward you, get ready, because it’s coming!

I’m genuinely excited to see what happens in your life as your eyes are opened to this very good news and you become consumed with how the Father truly feels about you!

I pray for those of you who do not know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, that you would choose to receive Him today. You can come to Him as you are. And for those of you who are already Christians I pray that you would come to a new understanding or a deeper understanding of who you really are and what you actually have in Christ Jesus.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15 – NASB)

The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. (from Matthew 20:28 – NIV)

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21- NLT)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. (Ephesians 1:7 – NIV)

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. 38 For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39 – AMP)

Wow – I literally cannot get over God’s goodness toward me in sending Jesus to die for me and Jesus’ willingness to offer Himself up on my behalf.

My prayer for you today is that you’ll become awestruck over just how loved you are…by God Almighty.

If you have not yet made Jesus your Savior and received the wonderful joy that His finished work on the cross has provided for you to live in, please visit my page here titled Jesus In The Driver’s Seat. On this page I explain the good news of the gospel and you will have the opportunity to pray a prayer of salvation, making Jesus your Savior! Jesus loves you and His arms are wide open!
