Making Jesus Famous – The Best Life Ever!

Just added another speaking engagement to my calendar for this year! What am I doing to make this happen? Nothing but resting in Jesus and enjoying my relationship with Him.

I seriously cannot believe I tried to live for myself for the first 34 years of my Christian life. My biggest goal was to be noticed by others and become famous. I kid you not, I couldn’t even be happy for others who were being blessed (although I pretended I was) because deep down inside I was jealous of them. I wanted all the attention on me.

I didn’t know at the time that all this junk was in my heart until I came to a revelation of God’s grace, but I most definitely had behavior modification going on daily. Check out my book if you want to know more about my story of bondage and freedom and learn for yourself how to reign in life through Jesus Christ!

I’m so glad I’m done with that self-centered, defeated life. Living to make Jesus famous is so…much…better! In fact, it’s the best life ever. I’m having a total blast being a childlike, child of God!

I still recall that day, January 2nd, 2012, when God showed me a revelation of His unconditional love for me and made it clear to me that He loves me just because I’m His daughter, not because of anything I do for Him. I bounded around my house for days like a little kid saying out loud, “He loves me, He loves me, He loves me!”

I don’t believe I’ve ever completely lost that childlike heart that was birthed in me that day. I’ve definitely had to come back to it over and over again because as you know, life can be rough sometimes, but I’ve never lost it.

The devil does NOT want us to make Jesus famous and he’s NOT going to roll out a red carpet for us to do so. That’s precisely why we need to keep that childlike trust going on on an ongoing basis by simply continuing to go to our good, good Father about everything that concerns us. There is no concern too small and insignificant. Just like a child comes to their parents about every little thing, that’s what we need to do!

Who Is the Greatest in the Kingdom Realm?

18 At that time the disciples came to ask Jesus, “Who is considered to be the greatest in heaven’s kingdom realm?”

Jesus called a little one to his side and said to them, “Learn this well: Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable, and learn about heaven’s kingdom realm with the wide-eyed wonder of a child, you will never be able to enter in. Whoever continually humbles himself  to become like this gentle child is the greatest one in heaven’s kingdom realm. And if you tenderly care for this little one on my behalf, you are tenderly caring for me. – Matthew 18:1-5 (TPT)

Jesus Blesses Little Children

13 The parents kept bringing their little children to Jesus so that he would lay his hands on them and bless them. But the disciples kept rebuking and scolding the people for doing it. 14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he became indignant with his disciples and said to them, “Let all the little children come to me and never hinder them! Don’t you know that God’s kingdom realm exists for such as these? 15 Listen to the truth I speak: Whoever does not open their arms to receive God’s kingdom like a teachable child will never enter it.”
– Mark 10:13-15 (TPT)

Will you join me in completely throwing yourself on the goodness and grace of God and become like a little child who is willing to trust your good, good Daddy to orchestrate the details of your life while you simply enjoy relationship with Him?

You know this is what all of us Believers are going to be like in heaven. We’re going to be like “Wooooooooowwwwwwww! You’re awesome Jesus! Woooooowwwww! This is wild. You did all this because you love us! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank Yoooooooou!”

Let’s not wait until we get to heaven. Let’s receive God’s kingdom like a little child right here, right now. Let’s receive every single thing Jesus died to provide for us – the most important being that union we now have with God. Not a moment of separation, even when we mess up royally.

We are one with Him! When we really understand this, we live differently!

If you have not yet made Jesus your Savior and received the wonderful joy that His finished work on the cross has provided for you to live in, please visit my page here titled Jesus In The Driver’s Seat. On this page I explain the good news of the gospel and you will have the opportunity to pray a prayer of salvation, making Jesus your Savior! Jesus loves you and His arms are wide open!
