The Coming Revival – Where Will It Begin?

I believe what I’m sharing with you today is a Word from God, but because this is never a phrase I throw around lightly, I sent this to 18 of my friends/accountability partners/mentors to get their feedback before sharing it. I received very positive feedback from everyone and was highly encouraged to share this through my blog. Thank You, Holy Spirit!

First of all, in August of last year (2017) while I was driving, I had a vision. I can still see what I saw that day as clear as ever.

I saw a gigantic tsunami up above the earth getting ready to slam down on the entire planet. I knew immediately that this was a spiritual tsunami of a revelation of God’s grace – a revelation of Jesus – that was coming and in fact, had already begun to hit!

When I got home I immediately texted my good friend Katie and told her about it and asked her if we could schedule a time to pray about this. We got together on Thursday, August 31st to pray.

Then yesterday, April, 6, 2018, while driving, the Holy Spirit began to download what I’m about to share with you in my heart! I believe it goes along with the vision I had last August.

What the Holy Spirit was showing me gripped me so powerfully that I pulled over into a parking lot to write it down.

Here’s it is:

The Coming Revival – Where Will It Begin?

“What will happen first is revival will hit the church. This revival won’t be like some people think it will be – where ministers preach on sin more often to get people who need to be free from sin more sin-focused and self-focused and less Jesus-focused.

This is exactly why we are in the mess we are in today.

So that won’t be the revival that will come. It’s going to be a revival that takes The Church’s eyes off of herself and her works and places them on Jesus and His finished work alone!

Then, when The Church gets fully drenched by this tsunami of a revelation of the person of Jesus Christ – God’s Grace Personified- the true gospel will begin being shared from pulpits all across the planet, ushering in a world wide revival!

IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS!!!!!”

I received many responses from my friends, but this is the one I felt I was suppose to share in conjunction with this post. My friend Amy Holmes texted me this and I just love it!

The Apostle Paul said this to the corinthians:

2 Corinthians 11:4,

You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed. (NLT)

My friend, I encourage you not to swallow everything you hear hook, line and sinker.

I was listening to a message by someone the other day and I was like, “Oh my gosh, this is so off-base.” The message was not pointing to Jesus at all, but was instead making the listener feel condemned and like they would never be able to do enough to measure up. Nothing about Jesus’ finished work, but all about how the listener needed to work harder – try harder.

I am not kidding when I say I started getting nauseous and felt like I was going to burst into tears. I felt so terrible for the people who were being deceived into thinking that was the good news because this minister is very influential. But, I wasn’t mad at this preacher, because I know he is just deceived. (just like I was deceived, for decades) Instead, I prayed for him to get a full-on revelation of God’s grace. Ha Ha Ha, Bam, I can’t wait to see what happens!

Be relentless in continuing to hear and read and talk about the good news about God’s grace (the true gospel) and also be relentless in loving and praying for those who still need to get a revelation on what the gospel of Jesus Christ truly is!

We love and we pray and we let the Holy Spirit do His work!

If you have not yet made Jesus your Savior and received the wonderful joy that His finished work on the cross has provided for you to live in, please visit my page here titled Jesus In The Driver’s Seat. On this page I explain the good news of the gospel and you will have the opportunity to pray a prayer of salvation, making Jesus your Savior! Jesus loves you and His arms are wide open!
