Don’t Fall For A Fake Gospel

The McCollom family is on vacation! But on our way to Florida we decided to stop off in Georgetown, Kentucky to attend a church service at Grace Point Church where Jeremiah and Stacey Johnson are the Pastors!

Let me tell you, it was totally worth the stop and it won’t be the last time we do it!

Today Pastor Jeremiah seriously preached one of the best messages we’ve ever heard. I was thinking, ummm, the whole world needs to hear this and I leaned over to Steve in the middle of the teaching and said, “THIS message is going on my blog,”

He did a great job explaining why the Apostle Paul was so unwavering and straight forward in this passage of scripture below.

Listening to his teaching will help you know if you are hearing and being persuaded by a fake gospel or the true gospel!

I am shocked over how quickly you have strayed away from the Anointed One who called you to Himself by His loving mercy. I’m frankly astounded that you now embrace a distorted gospel! That is a fake “gospel” that is simply not true. There is only one gospel—the gospel of the Messiah! Yet you have allowed those who mingle law with grace to confuse you with lies.

Anyone who comes to you with a different message than the grace gospel that you have received will have the curse of God come upon them! For even if we or an angel appeared before you, to give you a different gospel than what we have already proclaimed, God’s curse will be upon them.

I will make it clear: Anyone, no matter who they are, that brings you a different gospel than the grace gospel that you have received, let them be condemned and cursed! Galatians 1:6-9 (TPT)

You’re going to love this message!

We loved our time with Pastors Jeremiah and Stacey Johnson and their family (one son not pictured here). They are wonderful people whose lives exemplify Jesus! And I got to hold the baby!!!!

If you have not yet made Jesus your Savior and received the wonderful joy that His finished work on the cross has provided for you to live in, please visit my page here titled Jesus In The Driver’s Seat. On this page I explain the good news of the gospel and you will have the opportunity to pray a prayer of salvation, making Jesus your Savior! Jesus loves you and His arms are wide open!
