Are you enjoying your life? I believe it’s God’s will for His children to enjoy life!

Something I’ve noticed in the past couple of years is that many peoples’ lives are very dramatic. Complicated would be another word for it. Hey, I’m not judging anyone because my own life gets too dramatic and too complicated sometimes as well. This is just something I’ve been thinking about.

Jesus’ life was not filled with complication.

In fact, Jesus said this…to us!

“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” –John 14:27 (TPT)

Why do you think Jesus was able to live in such perfect peace? I think it was because He knew who He was. There was zero need to try to impress anyone.

Look at this:

15 After this miracle the news about Jesus spread even farther. Massive crowds continually gathered to hear him speak and to be healed from their illnesses. 16 But Jesus often slipped away from them and went into the wilderness to pray.  – Luke 5:15-16 (TPT)

Something I personally asked for help from God with last week is hurrying. I used to be late just about everywhere I went and God has helped me with that to the point where I’m hardly ever late anymore, but I started noticing recently that I still push things to the last minute too often and when I do that causes stress/complication/drama in my life. But guess what? That’s not God’s will for me or for any of His children! So I simply talked to my Good Father about this last week and asked Him to help me. And of course He is by helping me by reminding me that Jesus is my wisdom AND part of my new identity is, I am a person who walks in wisdom!

God will always remind you of who you truly are in Jesus when you ask for His help so run to the throne of grace every single time you need help! I believe it’s the only way to The Simple Life – the life that Jesus lived!

So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness. Hebrews 4:16 (TPT)

If you have not yet made Jesus your Savior and received the wonderful joy that His finished work on the cross has provided for you to live in, please visit my page here titled Jesus In The Driver’s Seat. Thank you so much for making this fb live. I’m minutes from Bolingbrook, but will be watching from bed, while I’m seeking God and his healing.

Thank you for your posts… Our good Father inspired posts…
God really does remind us of who we are in Him when we ask. I just did ask in a tearful way and then sat down and here is your email and reminder. He is always at work and eager to show us how much He loves us.
Thank you again.

Annette
